Adios, Man Poop!!

It is official. The little man is potty-trained. It was almost overnight. And to all those who say pull-ups don't work, they were actually a good transition for him. He was attached to his diapers (but he would make me change them right after he peed), we finally convinced him to wear pull-ups, and he actually regressed and wouldn't tell me to change him right afterwards. One night S. had a good talk with him, he went to the bathroom around 10pm (it was a late night) and S. took him (and Boo, of course) out for a treat. After still peeing in his pull-ups a couple times after that he went days with being dry. Then he suddenly was ready for underwear. He didn't want it off for bed, so he has even been sleeping in it with no accidents (and going in public). I have to say it's easier than with Boo because he can just do it himself and I don't have to do anything. He just stands up and makes his bubbles.

However, he is still adjusting to the lack of cushion when he falls.

Ahhh, life is good being free of man poop...for a few months until Nay starts on solids.

Hallelujah, Little Man! You made Mommy one HAPPY lady! Wish I could teach Owen to take a squat on the pot (at 16 months)!

Oh how I can't wait for Trevor to be potty trained! We're shooting for July and see how it goes!

We will definitely be here July fourth. I'm not sure about Wayne's schedule, but we would love to see you.

What?! We must figure out a way to see each other! We are actually there from the 3rd-12th so that doesn't leave much time, does it? Email me and let me know where you'll be staying, etc. lisaowens99@msn.com

I am so jealous I am thinking about potty training hence the word thinking because it is too much work....in your case it didn't sound too bad.

Hey Mudricks, how's it going? I'm gonna let you (and all your readers) in on a huge secret... you can potty train your kids by about 4 months old! I don't even remember the last time Rio pooped in his pants, and he only pees in his pants a couple times a day when I don't put him on the potty often enough. Yep. Sure saves a bazillion dollars on diapers (although we're actually using cloth - in which case it saves on laundering!). Check out diaperfreebaby.com. I swear it works!
