Barefoot and pregnant

Okay, here is a picture of my big belly (35 weeks and counting). I got a couple requests for it, and after looking at Lisa's, Amanda, and Brooke's blogs I figured I better join in the pregnant ladies' party.

I have often wondered about the phrase, "Barefoot and pregnant." I know why it is used now--because it is so stinkin' hard to put your shoes on. I painted my toenails the other night and almost stopped mid-painting to wait for S. to come home so he could do it for me. Only 5 or so more weeks to go and I can wear tie shoes again. Oh, and I can't wait until I can clean up my house without a big belly. I keep telling the kids they need to pick their toys up off the floor because by the end of the day my back is killing me.

After seeing my belly--any guesses on it being a boy or a girl?

Our discussion last Sunday on the way home from church:

S: Do you think the baby is a girl or a boy?

Boo: Boy!

Little Man: Girl!

S and Boo: Boy!

Me and LM: Girl! '

We seriously shouted it back and forth for a couple minutes. We'll see who's right soon enough...

YEAH!!! Finally a picture of your pregnant belly. I have never seen you pregnant. But seriously, you're tiny! Granted, I know my perception is messed up being prego with twins right now, but you look awesome!! I'm impressed that you even started painting your toenails. Shawn has to help me put my shoes on in the morning if socks are required. I hear ya about the cleaning. I can only clean what is easy to get to and it's driving me nuts. Just a few more weeks! And I vote that you're having a boy!

Awww, so cute. Seriously I don't think I'll be looking so cute at 35 weeks. You give me a lot to aspire to. I gained 6lbs in the last 4 weeks, so if I keep on track like that I'll be a fatty by the end! I'm thinking that little one is a girl in your belly. I'm with you and Luke. Either way though, your baby will have a boy and girl cousin very close in age!

Umm, that's not a "big" belly. It's a very cute pregnant belly, though. :)

Um, Yeah, Jules, "big" is all relative. YOU, are not big:) I was so big with Maddie, I am STILL trying to get rid of the bigness...unfortunately, that last 10 pounds felt pretty comfortable where it was after I gave birth, and has been fighting for residence for the last three years...hey quick question, we are going on a cruise in July, when are you coming to Utah?

While you might have been having a bump for a while, which might convince you that you are huge, you are not! I love the pointy belly! Even when I was skinnest with Ryan, I wasn't pointy...mine has always sprawled out in my whole abdomen area...from the very bottom...to the highest it can go! And you are so tiny everywhere else...you're cute! You got some good genes girl!

Hi Julie!!! long time no see. I couldn't believe you stumbled on to Camille's blog. We'll it's my turn to see what you've been up to. And it looks like the gang is still in tact (although I must admit I was disappointed by some of the effort put into your blogs...no names...tennille)

A big howdy from a far off, somewhat backwards place...Nathan

You look so good! I'm with Amanda - I hope I look half as good when I'm as far along as you are. And I'm going to say it's a boy. As if I really have any idea.

You look amazing! Isn't it nice to know that the little one will be out so soon? Maybe you like being pregnant, in which case it wouldn't matter. I'm excited to see if it's a boy or a girl. I never guess right, so I'll just wait and see.
